Yippee!!!! I came home today and found Isabel's card in the mail! I was afraid maybe it had ended up in the Twilight Zone somewhere! Thank you so much, Isabel, I loved it, you're a real sweetheart!

I think I have gotten them from everyone now. The card exchange made Christmas so special this year, I enjoyed each & every card! Especially with all of my family elsewhere (except Star & Sherman), I still felt surrounded by friends!

To all who sent a card, thank you so much. They were all wonderful, and are still displayed in my room (just extending Christmas a bit longer, right? ) They WERE displayed by the Christmas tree, but we ran out of room!

I'm sorry that no one received a card from me. I told those who were running it that they could delete me from the list earlier, but they said they would leave me on it.

I didn't have the extra cash to send you all cards from the M&M's and I because Molly had to get several tests done and have surgery.

I was disappointed to hear that several members were concerned about me participating in the gift swap. I guess I can't blame you, though.

If anyone would like me to reimburse for the cost of the card and shipping, please PM me.

yes you told me, and I suggested a virtual card which you could post here, because of the $$ issue and you said it was ok, but I haven´t seen that either........if you didn´t had the money you were not expected to send but at least have the detail to do as I suggested, as in a Thank you way.........

I think the concern mayorly is because if in the gift swap, whatever problem arises and you back down, your recipient will get nothing (not that we´ll let that happen) and in the card swap even you sent none we still got cards from several others.........IMO

I don´t think anyone wants a reimbursement, I think it was money well spent, at least for me, I loved giving/sending cards, and if I don´t get the rest I won´t go asking for reinburments to the ones who got mine........

sorry if I sound rude, I´m not trying to at all.........just to leave everything clear

maybe you should save a bit for when the swap begins and a little extra for shipping as it may be you get a foreign or overseas swap.......and be sure to follow through.........JMO

I just made the list to keep track, and to help me notice if someone has had trouble or something.........it made me realize a few members that haven´t been around lately and made me wonder if they were ok......

I´m happy too with the cards I´ve received........it I get them all.....GREAT......but if not (for whatever reason) I´m happy too as I was a part of it.........

I totally understand if someone can´t send, but it´s nice to know as of why *I think*.......

I will be sending mine out soon just had to get situated with just getting the job and moving. Had to catch up on some things! I have all the cards done just need to get the stamps and they will be out! Thank you all for understanding!

I am glad you are still sending them. It certainly will be a joy to receive it!

We can certainly understand. It was tough getting mine out, as I spent nearly $900 on Mufasa (my new puppy) alone just last month. And then I also spent an additional $200 or so on flea medications and treatments because he came infested with fleas and gave them to my other three dogs and our house. I HOPE *knock on wood* we have it under control now.

Thankfully, I was still able to get them out, even if they were a few days late. But it's always fun to extend Christmas and I don't think it's right not to follow through with something like this.

I received Isabel's last week and it was so cool. It's crazy how wierd the mail service works. It was also neat to see the Mexican stamp.

My mom rolled her eyes and said "You're STILL receiving cards?!?"
So, when your's comes I'm sure she'll be especially jealous. Thank you for still sending them, and don't worry about them being late - as long as we get them!

It is so interesting............I was thrilled with each card that I received.

But, I didn't go back and check the list to be sure that EVERYONE sent me a card. I just assumed that if I didn't get a card that there was a good reason behind it. Things happen in life and sometimes you cannot keep a promise and are embarrassed to say so.

This has happened before with the Christmas card swap - some people just couldn't get the cards out. But it never spoiled the wonderful cards that I did receive or the season and spirit of our exchange.

The gift exchange is different - if one person is counting on receiving a gift -
then that is important and you shouldn't sign up unless you are positive that you can afford to do it and that you want to do it.

But NOTHING should spoil our beautiful card exchange that took place in Corinna's name. She wouldn't want us fighting over it - for sure!
