do you work with animals??

I didn't vote because I don't currently work with animals, but I did for 6 years. I just quite this past year because my husband and I moved. Now I'm also pregnant so I'm not going back to work.

For 6 years I managed a pet boarding facility and did both domestic and wildlife rescue. I'd like to get back into the rescue someday, maybe when my kids are in school.

Not yet! I quite possibly have a job as a groomer lined up for the summer, and I'm going to try to work at the local veterinary hospital...but at the current time I'm going to school full time with the ultimate goal of becoming a vet.

I volunteer with a cat rescue organization in Pittsburgh. I love cats in any shape and form. At Cat Sense I'm known as the Cat whisperer! I can calm and relax just about any cat by cuddling him/her!

I help out at a petstore that specializes in Birds, Fish, & Reptiles. I've learned more than I'd ever imagine.. and I continue to learn something new each day! It allows me to get all the hands on experiance I want with the bigger parrots(macaws, amazons, etc.) of which I'm unable to have at home. Also, my fish & reptile knowledge is expanding.

If volunteering at the shelter counts, then yes I do. I do plan on working at the shelter someday or becoming a vet tech.

Not really. I work at a historic farm but I don't get the see the cows that often. I'd like to train horses for a while in the future.

Sort of. I apprentice at a clinic during my holiday breaks in the hopes of becoming a veterinarian.

I use to. My first job was a pet care specailist at a petstore. I'd LOOOOOVE to work with animals again. I loved working with animals, just not at a petstore. A humane society, vet's office, training school, etc would be nice. something with dogs.
