Such as a guard dog may be too mean? A search & rescue dog may have too much energy, too hard to handle, for the average family? A hunting dog may run off, wanting to go hunting. Herding dogs are also most often highly energetic, and get bored easily, which causes them to get into a lot of trouble. Of coarse, many of our dogs are hunting dogs, or herding dogs, ect.. But by crossbreeding, we are trying to breed great pets!
This is what I hate. There is no need for breeding JUST for pets. A working dog that doesn't like working, a show dog that will not win, a shelter dog on death row just because he was a puppy and chewed someon's shoes, do these not make wonderful pets?????
So glad to know you put something on your professional website that you're not sure about, then decide to let us know by adding a question mark.

Also, the breed, or breeds, of human society dogs are often just guesses. Parents of the dog or puppy completely unknown. I myself adopted a puppy at a human society called a "Lab Cross".. He grew up to be crossed with a Doberman, was difficult to handle, (impossible for the kids), and eventually bit my daughter, without being provoked. He was also very hyper, and controling with other dogs.
Would you look at that! They don't want to deal with actually understanding or training their dogs so they just breed more they like. Breedists, and they have revolting grammar on their site that's supposed to show them in the best light!
