What are angry/attacking e-mails going to do? They aren't going to do anything. As has been stated, posting the link here and everyone going to the site is doing these "breeders" a favor by giving their site traffic and moving them up in the search engine. If we knew the dogs were in poor condition then they could be reported. However we don't know that, and unfortunately what they are doing is not illegal. They don't believe what they are doing is wrong, and they are not suddenly going to change their ways because of irate e-mails from random people off the internet, that only amounts to harassment. Only friends and acquaintances they know and have a relationship with would have the chance to dissuade them in any way.

    Yiiiikes. Absolutely disgusting.

One "good" thing though, it confirmed my belief that Jack is indeed a Lab/Beagle mix!

Your emails won't help the dogs, but by going there you are helping promote their site and giving them more and more hits.
You're kind of right on this. One thing I never knew is actually it's not the most popular it's who pays the most money to put their site in the top spots.

I'm very tempted to e-mail as well. I really wonder how crazy someone has to be to justify something like this. And then it will be a whole family of crazies cause they're raising their children to think this way, and so on and son on. Just wow.

That is not completely true, traffic is a very big determining factor as where they end up on the search engines. They can pay companies to GET them more traffic, i.e. this: http://www.megawebpromotion.com/ But if they get a lot of traffic for free it still moves up their page ranking. That is what ads on websites do, they pay for those ads to give them more traffic and thus bump them up.

Your right maybe i should have not approachd things the way i did,And no my point may have not got across,But they know that there is atleast one person who does not agree what they are doing..I dont like the fact that they took an Aussie and a poodle and mixed them,They are ruining the breeds...I know most likely in a couple years from no it will be all over the place...

^ If they weren't crazy they would realize it was a heck of a lot more than one person.

    Link Popularity
    by Jill Whalen
    Updated in August 2004

For years, "link popularity" and "Google PageRank" have been the talk of the town in the search engine optimization community. However, the definition of link popularity and how it differs from PageRank (PR), as well as how much effect these actually have on search engine rankings, is often misunderstood.

    What is Link Popularity?
The theory goes something like this: The search engine Powers That Be have decided that if other sites are linking to your site, it must be a winner; therefore, it deserves a boost in rankings (when all else is equal). If you think about it, this makes a lot of sense. People link to good sites, not bad ones.

You CAN pay to have your links higher up, but by something suddenly becoming popular and getting more hits, the above happens as well. They don't check all the sites, but if they see one getting a ton of hits, it can move up as well. I just hate to see someone so apparently disgusting get "help" to sell their poor mutts=/

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

Here is another email i just recieved.

Obviously we own Aussies too! Melody has ever had 2 puppies in her life so far. Harmony one.. Peppy & Little Red have not had any at all yet. I am WELL aware of the Aussie temperment! These girls will NEVER be bred often, as they are very busy with their shows!

And crossing with a Poodle.. These little Aussiedoodles have GREAT temperments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Molly is totally AWESOME!!!!!!!! ALL are!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you known any Aussiedoodles personally? Have you even ever known any Poodles personally?

Besides that, we have long term goals, for a new breed, that needs to include the Aussiedoodles....... Aussies sure have something to add! They are very smart, fun, not shy dogs.. (Mine anyway..)

Not mutts, as they sure have a pedigree! There are MANY purebreds in shelters also....... Which ARE mutts though, because they have unknown pedigrees......... I have seen many Aussies in Shelters.. (Purebred ones..)

If Aussies are so wonderful on their own right, why do YOU say that they have temperment problems? Obviously NOT so great then!!!!!!!!!!!! You talk in circles.......

If someone wants an Aussie, they can go to a shelter and get one.. Anyone can get ANY breed at a Shelter...........

MY puppies NEVER go to shelters!!!!!!!!!! My mail box was FULL, for weeks in a row, of Christmas cards of pictures of puppies that we bred......... I receive wonderful pictures & letters and emails everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aussies SHED! Aussiedoodles do not, or at least a LOT less! My Aussiedoodles are small! GREAT housedogs!!!!!!!!! VERY easy to train! Very personable..

You are either jealous, ignorant, or just plain not bvery bright.. Do not think things through.. So.. STOP emailing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will nto answer your emails anymore, and I WILL continue to report you every time you do............

I never said they had temperment problems but the way they are taking these two breeds it can turn into temper problems,Not all Aussies are aggressive but i owned one Bandit,His father was a very aggressive dog,,,,I told her about the genes....Obviously she is the dumb one!

Well just from her tone in that e-mail she is either crazy, or knows it's all wrong and is trying to defend her actions. The only thing we can really do is sit here and HOPE someone finds this to actually be a puppymill and then she gets shut down. It all just seems so wrong.

I didn't click the link, as Vela said, it does provide hits for the site which will bump up its place on search engines.

However, from what I've read on this thread, this breeder appears to me to have an IQ of a five-year-old. I can't believe how many designer breed names I've seen in posts, a huge variety indeed.

It's so frustrating that people make money out of ignorance.

How many people do any of us know who has actually purchased a dog off the internet?

How many people do we know who has purchased a puppy from a pet store?

Where do all these puppies wind up?
To train a dog you have to think like a dog!

a lot of puppies are purchased from the internet and pet stores...unfortuatnely=/ My own mother, a nurse practitioner, bought her dogs from pet stores, and encouraged my brother to do so as well. They areh highly book smart, but not real bright. I even told them all about it and they know they come from mills. Didn't stop them. =(

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!
