Thanks! I was looking for something different to read. I just bought three books on ebay, two of which were mentioned here.

Very cool!! Which ones did you pick out??

One of the best perks about being a librarian is ordering all the new books. Actually, that's second best. The best part is unpacking all the new books and being the FIRST one in the school to read them. LOVE IT!!!

I read about 3-4 novels (as in 250+ pages) a week during the school year to make sure what I have is appropriate, and summer time, whew! We're talking about at least 1 book a day minimum. I may not have much of a social life, but I am well read, lol.

Wow, a dream! I used to read a lot when I was at school and I was going to the public library of my town several times a week! It's not the case anymore, as it takes me weeks to read a single book (except during holidays), but I always need to have one with me.

But If I understand well, Jenn_librarian, you are specializing in CAT books (just joking)

I just bought this book off of ebay - for $8.00 with shipping and handling included. Just type in "A cat named Darwin" under buy it now. This one IS used, but they had about 10 others for sale as well, starting from 2.95(without shipping).

Thank you so much for this reference. I will read it and let you know what I think. Katie and kitties

    Thank you so much Michelle!

It is definitely a tear jerker!!

The book 101 Cataclysms is a sweet book with tons of pics of kitties in cute positions. My kids at school adore it!

*UPDATE* I got my book today, and I started reading it. I am at the part where he trys to see if Darwin can figure out his territory (the door). I am going home now to try to read a little more before bed. I love his writing style!

    Thank you so much Michelle!
