    Amy, I'm so sorry to hear about Reggie. I saw his name out of the corner of my eye and didn't want to open the thread. I can't imagine how hard being there with your mom must have been, but I'm sure he is happy at the RB and appreciates all the time that he spent with you and that you were there.

    Thank you for the sweet comments everyone, I really appreciate them. I couldn't look at this thread without crying otherwise I would have replied earlier. My mom and I are still having a hard time, but we're trying to just think of him as he was before, when he was younger. I know he's happier now and running free, he could hardly stand some days...he couldn't go up/down stairs, often he would just fall over and could not get back up. We will always love and miss you Reggie.

    Oh Amy, I'm so sorry. My sympathy & prayers go to your whole family. This is the hardest decision of all, the one we all dread, the one that takes all the selflessness we can muster. Reggie deserved to be let free of his pain, don't ever think it was less than a courageous and loving act to let him go. You did good, going with your mom.
