    Fritz and Taffy

Fritz in the chair this morning and Taffy on the couch. You would never know there are two dogs in this house.Fritz is upstairs in the chair and Taffy is down here with me on the little couch. Both Larry and Marlene have gone to Toronto with Mom and Dad to this ALS support group meeting. The appointment yesterday, it turne dout had nothing to do with Lou Gehrig's,it had to do with his protein in the blood that was out of kilter,it is good now,so now he doesn't need to go to Oshawa on Thursday for the bone marrow test.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

I'm glad to hear that Fritz and Taffy are staying together and behaving. It's a good thing that all is quiet. More prayers going up to you and your Dad and family Barry. I'm always thinking of all of you.

    A Couple Of Sleepy Doggies

Two pictures of Fritz snoozing on my bed,one with his paws over his eyes,Taffy on mom and dad's bed,and a closeup of Fritz on my knee,I took it,thought it was a cute one.i don't know what they did,but dad has to take this drug called Riluzole, which is supposed to help slow the progress somewhat of this. He has two more appointments in Toronto, one on February 8th and on February 27th . This drug is supposed to delay the progress of ventilator assistance or tracheostomy. It prolongs survival by 2 months,i guess every little bit helps.

You're just too cute Fritz!! That closeup shot is great. Did you and Taffy have a hard play so you both needed a nap??

Barry, I'm hoping that new drug will help your Dad tremendously. Anything is worth a try. Take care.

    Cute Fella Snoozing

Fritz last night under the small couch and this morning cuddled up with Dad.Right now ,he is laying on his side in the same place on the couch.A few minutes after taking that first picture,Fritz went up to bed.At around midnight,he got down and went to the kitchen and layed there wanting some water,so Mom had to go out and get him water and he gulped it right down.At Sunnybrook yesterday,Mom and dad met a couple and the Man has the same thing as dad, only his is in his voice, not the legs.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.
