    Zonky Doggies

Fritz before breakfast this morning,Fritz flipped over on the couch next to dad,the lamp was on and that is why the picture doesn't look right and Taffy laying on Mom and Dad's bed.Taffy is here as Marlene went with Mom and Dad to the Oncologist at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. You would never know there are two dogs in the house, both are quiet right now,Taffy in the bedroom and Fritz in the corner of the kitchen.I did some vacuuming upstairs both Taffy and Fritz don't like it,Taffy came downstairs and Fritz to the kitchen.Dad put a dimmer switch on for the bathroom ,took a couple of hours. He can't see when he goes in there at night and had a lamp in there and it shines bright,i have to sleep with the door closed and it could be dangerous with a light plugged in near the bathroom sink.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

    Pals and Watchdog

Here is Fritz and me again,Fritz at the back door watching as Mom and Dad come back from the hospital.Didn't tell me how it went, probably didn't tell them much there.Like when Dad went for the results, mom wasn't going to say anything until i asked and all she told me at the time that it wasn't good. She didn't tell me about what it actually was until she was home. While at the hospital waiting today, they met Auntie Bev and Irene. They were there for Irene's cancer trouble.Dad has gone to be ,Fritz is in the window,Mom at a church meeting.Tomorrow, they have to be gone by 5-5:30 in the morning as thye have to be there for 8:30.My sister is going again tomorrow and Taffy will be here to keep Fritz and me company.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

    Fritz and Taffy

Fritz in the chair this morning and Taffy on the couch. You would never know there are two dogs in this house.Fritz is upstairs in the chair and Taffy is down here with me on the little couch. Both Larry and Marlene have gone to Toronto with Mom and Dad to this ALS support group meeting. The appointment yesterday, it turne dout had nothing to do with Lou Gehrig's,it had to do with his protein in the blood that was out of kilter,it is good now,so now he doesn't need to go to Oshawa on Thursday for the bone marrow test.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

I'm glad to hear that Fritz and Taffy are staying together and behaving. It's a good thing that all is quiet. More prayers going up to you and your Dad and family Barry. I'm always thinking of all of you.

    A Couple Of Sleepy Doggies

Two pictures of Fritz snoozing on my bed,one with his paws over his eyes,Taffy on mom and dad's bed,and a closeup of Fritz on my knee,I took it,thought it was a cute one.i don't know what they did,but dad has to take this drug called Riluzole, which is supposed to help slow the progress somewhat of this. He has two more appointments in Toronto, one on February 8th and on February 27th . This drug is supposed to delay the progress of ventilator assistance or tracheostomy. It prolongs survival by 2 months,i guess every little bit helps.
