Yes we were able to get the Choke Collar off last night. It had to be cut off cause it was way too small to get around his head, i could barely get a finger under it! Rocky was a good boy, and once it was off head started going nuts shaking his head! i think he was happy it was gone!
    Maggie,

Okay guys here are a few more pics Of Rocky!!

He met Loki for the first time today, and he realy had no interest. He sniffed, then went and laid down!

He he he he he!! Check out the muddy footprints on the floor Next to Rocky!

So he seems to be getting along quite nicely! He does seem to have a bit of Sepperation Anxiety tho! Last night we decided to leave the dogs downstairs, as we were unsure of Rocky's House habits.
So Hubby and I went to bed, not more than 20 mins later we heard a big crash, we got up started down the hallway, and there was Rocky! Confused, we went to the hall way door, which was no longer there!! He broke down the door!! Hubby was not happy!! Oops!!
    Here is the door!

Oh my goodness, sorry about the door. But how can you stay mad at him for too long with such a cute face like that!?!
Poor guy, he will eventually be fine with everything.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

opps- another door bites the dust.. lol.
As far as muddy paws, when he settles in, trim the hair on the bottom of the paws. That will really reduce how much he brings in from the outside. Also cheap bathroom rugs- the thick pile kind- are excellent to clean big feet. I have then at the entry door they do in and out of..
It may also take a few days before he stops looking for his owner. Saints are known for being very loyal, and it may take a while for him to get over this. Removing also any blankets etc the other owner gave will help. As long as he smells these, he may continue to look for his old owner.

Actually today when i was trimming his nails, i did trim the fur of the bottoms of his feet, ithas helped alot. I remebered that from my Dog groomer, which rocky will be visiting very soon!
