We've had gift swaps for the 6 or so years I've been here and none of them have gone "horribly wrong" as you stated.

There are some people who do not follow thru - however they are no longer able to participate in future swaps. Also, when the swap is over, if someone who signed up is without a package, then Amy and I (and whoever is generous enough) send out a package to that person. No one is left without a package.

Wasn't a criticism - just seemed a bit confusing from the outset....could just be me being thick! Good luck with this year's swap

I know that it wasn't criticism - I'm just letting you know that it will not go "horribly wrong."

And just a little background for those who may be swayed by your comment and decide not to join. Amy and I do our best and we'll never let anyone go without a gift package.
