someone outside either shot off a shotgun or lit fireworks because there was this huge bang that sent the cats scattering and the dogs to the window to investigate.

This made me smile. I am wondering how many zillion times this same scene was played out across the world tonight....cats scattering and dogs to the window.

I fell asleep before the ball dropped but the neighbors set off some fireworks which woke me up in time to celebrate that the New Year was here.

Happy New Year to all of my PT talk friends. I hope 2007 is good to us all!
