We Finally got a bit of Snow--Pictures/Video

Great photos! Huskies sure love the snow don't they? By the way, I'm still stealing Dakota, I love that boy. The look on Yukon's face cracks me up..."You actually want me to pull that thing?" Where do you get all of your equipment? Can two huskies pull a light sled fairly easily? I'd like to try it with Nebo and Keva when Keva is older...what age is ok for them to start pulling? Sorry for all of the questions.

Awww thats ok . Well my sled I got from someone who makes them, who lives not to far from me. And my other equipment (harnesses, lines etc.) I either bought from or just ordered them offline. And when they are about 3 months or so I will let them wear a harness around. Once they are about 5 months I will let them pull around a little log, small tire, etc. And as in my pics with Maya and Thunder, I will start hooking them up with one other dog to run along with. Just as they get older (around 8 months) I let them pull with maybe 2 or 3 other dogs. Once they are a year they are able to run with the whole team. That is how I train with my dogs, but there are other ways different mushers train . (Hope some of that made sense!,lol)
