    Great Danes are such magnificent creatures and you dear Minard are the cream of the crop! What a handsome fella you are, a gentle giant with a heart of gold! And you're a doggie super model to boot! No wonder your humans are so very proud of you! You certainly are one awesome ambassador for your fabulous breed, Mainard! How the kids must love seeing you come walking by and getting covered with those sweet, slobbery kisses! And yes, I have heard about that Danes are lap lovers, too! What else needs to be said...you're the BEST Congratulations sweet boy on your much deserved Dog of the Day honors! I hope the entire neighborhood throws you a Dog of the Day bash to beat the band! Don't forget the Dairy Queen! Hugs and kisses to you, precious Mainard...and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your wonderful family!

    Congrats Minard for winning the SPCA calender contest. Just seeing you in that picture wants me to go to the store and buy that calender. Minard, you are a beautiful Great Dane and you always will be! You look so graceful and peaceful in that picture. Your owner is sooo lucky to have you as a pet. Congrats on being our special Dog Of The Day! You really deserve that name! Tell your owner to give you lots of petting and treats. And of course many trips to Dairy Queen tonight!
