Here is a funny shot of Fritz today standing right up in the window and watching and Larry and Marlene back in the driveway.We had quite a day today.First of all,my cousin Maurice Wood stopped in to visit dad,his mom and dad are my Aunt and Uncle and he was there visiting for Christmas,the they were going to my other Cousin Eddie's house for supper before he had to back go back home to Cambridge,Ontario,about 2 hours west of here,he is a truck driver.of course ,he was excited to see my cousin,even more when Marlene and Larry came,giving them kisses and wags.Fritz rested all day and he was ready for a big play,trying to get Taffy to chase,Fritz would bolt all over the living room under the dining room table and under the chair,Taffy wasn't in the chasing mood.Fritz got more treats and and as i said before he got a Loony squeaky,a Loon is a Canadian type of duck.i got some good gifts,a handheld t.v. which i am trying to figure out,pajamas and a pair of joggging pants.After the gift opening,it was time for supper,Taffy was at the table,Fritz felt left out as he was sitting all the way back in front of the couch.We had a capon,which is in between a Turkey and a Chicken,turnip,potatoes,brussel sprouts,duck,dressing,cabbage salad and carrots.Dessert was a Lemon dessert which had Graham crackers on it.Fritz was staring me out,he wanted a little bite,i threw him a piece of the chicken,come over and sat up wanting more,stayed quiet for that unlike lunch..He loved the Lemon dessert too.I was just trying the t.v out and was turning ther aerial around and i twisted and broke, i just feel sick about it.

We love seeing these great pictures, Barry. Fritz looks so cute, standing up at the window. The girls got their big nephews, Jake, Pistol, and Durango, a honking mallard for Christmas. It looks just like Fritz's Loon. They only needed to get one since the boys will share the same toy. Each of them takes a turn and lets the next one have it.

It sounds like you had a wonderful day today with the family. Sorry that Taffy didn't feel like playing, Fritzie. Thanks for being so nice to her.

I'm sorry to hear that Auntie Irene is having to go through such a hard time. I hope the doctors can do something for her soon.
I'm also sorry to hear about the tv antenna Can it be fixed?

Fritz got up there with dad as soon as the blue blanket went on dad and is at dad's feet,he had been laying down and he got up.I had my sandwich,waves his paws and barks for that but gets on mom's lap when she has crackers and no noise out of him.Taffy is here i think,Marlene is here to trim Dad's hair.The snow we were supposed to get never come,just rain an dit was mixed with a little wet snow this morning around 40 fahrenheit .

Aw, I love all of the pictures on this page, Barry. I love the snuggling Fritz picture, sooo cute, and the standing picture, and the pile of presents. Looks and sounds like it was a pretty nice holiday at your house. Hope you can get your TV fixed.

I have been able to keep up on the Fritz thread, and I enjoyed seeing all of the great pictures of Fritz and Taffy that you shared with us.

You really had such a Wonderful Christmas , yet, I'm sorry about the antenna mis-hap ~ can you fix it, somehow?, Well, I sure do hope so~

Marlene took this picture of Fritz and me while she was here cutting Dad's hair.Fritz sitting wanting Lemon dessert,didn't get it as he hadn't ate his supper,did eat a little after that.Fritz flipped over with dad, slept there a lot today.Fritz couldn't get Taffy interested in chasing him,though Fritz tried to get frisky with her.Marlene was the one who bought me the t.v.,so gave it her and she will see about getting it fixed.

Fritz begging to go outside.He was under the small couch,he started whining,he figured i wasn't paying attention so he got out and sat up,headed upstairs,thought he wanted to go the window,he had to go outside.He sit and bark in the kitchen,turns out his Jerky treats were there and then had to hide them.A couple of times down here,he would sit up and beg at me,paw me,lick me,he wanted me to sit down in the chair,i sat for a few minutes,then back to the computer and after a few minutes started it again,so i shut off the computer and sat down,so he was satisfied.he whine at mom and look at me,dong everything to get to go upstairs.Fritz went up and is now in bed,i hope.Fritz snoozing with mom,his head buried in between her legs and Fritz in front of ther fireplace wanting water.

Fritz sleeping this morning at the end of mom and dad's bed.He finally went up last night,first to the living room chair then the bedroom where he slept at mom's feet all night.Dad was upset again last night,thinks he is going downhill,mom reassuring him he is doing well,I think he is and so does Marlene ,my sister.Samantha and Brandyn will be here today and that will sure cheer him up.I am not sure whn,but Auntie Irene will be seeing a specialist in Oshawa,which 10 miles west of here,to determine whether they will take a piece of bowel out,it is bowel cancer.Mom and Marlene are going to their apartment at some point,too many steps for dad.At some point ,when Irene is up to it they will come this way,they haven't seen Fritz for 2 months,he will happy to see them and they got some gift for him,don't know what it is yet. Had his cereal and toast this morning,tried coaxing him over to dad.He growled,he went on his own a few minutes later and that is where he is now.

Fritz having a snooze in the chair,here he is all played out after a couple of plays with his squeakies and here are his squeakies all lined up.I had them sitting there as if they were watching t.v.he run right into them and picked out his new duck squeaky.I had the Canadian flag out as Canada was playing the U.S.A in World Junior Hockey today,Canada won 5-3.There was another Canadian team playing in a tournament in Switzerland and they won 6-3 over the host team from Davos.Fritz is keeping mommy company downstairs,stayed up with dad for the longest time this afternoon.I had some chips,he wanted some ,he got it and he went to mom

Barry, I'm so sorry your Dad is getting so frustrated. It must be awful for him and so hard on everybody else too. I am still praying for the miracle cure for him and Auntie Irene. Take care.
