Tears for you both and for Daisy. It's one of the hardest things to do in life. But, by doing so, you prove your love, which is why it's so hard. Daisy, you'll be very missed and never forgotten by your family. Have fun at the RB being pain free and happy. Look for Duke, ok?

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Gallop free at the Rainbow Bridge, Daisy Mae. You will be sorely missed here on earth, but thank you so much for hanging in and spending your last Christmas with the ones who loved you so. Now, you go find my Gracie up there at the Bridge, okay? She's a mostly Dane, and almost all black - you will recognize her by the white Taj Mahal on her chest, and the white toes. She'll run and run and run with you, which I am picturing now, and then collapse in a great big nap at the end.

Hugs to you, Molly and to Mike.
