1.Would It Be better To Get 1 or 2 birds?
It really depends on what the owner wants out of the bird. If they want the bird to bond to them, 1 bird is typically best. If two birds are housed together, they normally bond to eachother opposed to bonding to their owner.
2. About how much noise do they make?(lets say if someone lived in an apartment for instance)
Lovebirds can be rather noisy, especially when in pairs. They have very high pitched screams. As for an apartment, they might be okay. Being high-pitched, their noise can carry quite a ways when they're actually being noisy. I've never lived in an apartment, so I'm not certain how well sound carries between the different housing areas.
