Oh Dante!! We simply have to have one of those hats to wear for the Season. You look like you're actually wishing all of us Happy Howlidays!! What a handsome man you are and an all around good Beagle boy. You don't look anywhere near eight years old-we couldn't have guessed it. We're pretty close to your age and we don't look or feel it either. Ain't life grand, Dante Boy? Congratulations on the weight loss!! We know how hard that is. We would love to see you and Peggy in action. Life at your house sounds like a riot. Please have Mom give you tons of extra kisses from us today and we wish you all happiness forever!! Congrats on being our very special and very adorable DOTD!!! CELEBRATE!!!!

Oh Dante I can almost hearing you howling. What is your selection today? Deck the Halls? I am sure it isn't White Christmas since you live in San Diego.

Did you know that some people would call you a therapy dog? You were there to comfort your mom and help her through a very difficult time and I know your fur probably absorbed a lot of her tears.

Congrats on the weight loss too! Lots of us would like to be able to drop a few pounds. We all hope that you will be around many many more years and losing the weight certainly gives you a start on just that! Enjoy your day, Dante!!

I've always thought I'd like to have a Beagle and when I read about you Dante, I knew why. What an absolutely delightful pup is reigning today as our Dog of the Day. I can envision each of the antics your mom has shared with us and now I can't stop smiling. The upside down on the couch barking at the kids had to be the funniest.

Dante, you are the stuff that Dog of the Day is all about. If only I could feel your little paws around my neck.

Greetings from Scotland, Dante! You look and sound as though you'll make sure your whole family have the happy-most-time at this Special time of the year! I share my home with my 11 year old dog Drum and 18 month old cat Tango. We don't know the pedigrees of either but that worries none of us. They don't know mine, either!They both give lots of love, as you do, and make my life a pleasure to wake up every day... what else would we all do?!
