Just want to thank everyone for the cards - they have really made this Christmas so special! I've received them from just about everyone (I'll let uou know when yours arrives, Isabel) what is funny is that even our friends from other places sent us cards with cats & dogs on them this year. They blend right in! And they are everywhere in my living room! SEE:

    Thank you and an apology

I didn't know where to put this but since it's about cards, this is fitting place I guess.

I did not participate in the card swap but that did not stop many of you from sending me a card. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You've really cheered me up with your words and thoughts and pictures of your furbabies.

    {{{hugs}}} to all of you.

Now the apology. I have at the moment a stack of cards sitting on my dining room table. They are all addressed but I have not written anything in them yet. I have no excuse for not sending them...just laziness I suppose. I'm truly sorry about that. It was suggested to me that I should just tuck them away for next year, but I might send them anyway. Won't that extend the warmth of Christmas into January???
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

If you participate next year, you could send all the cards in a box to one of us Stateside, and we could mail them for you, but I am looking forward to your Mexican stamps! And will let you know when we get yours, of course!
