Norri- Set top sails and clear up this mess!
Groves (I think)- With the wind at quarter stern we won't catch them!
Norri- We don't need to catch them, just get them in range of the long nines.
Groves- Hands come about! Run out the guns! (To Norri) We are to fire on our own ship sir?
Norri- I'd rather see her at the bottom of the ocean that in the hands of a pirate.
Some Random Crew member- Commodore, they've disabled the rudder chain sir!
*Norri Sighs, frustrated* *goes over to Gillete and some guys in his little rowboat. The interceptor is coming up behind them*
Gillete- Abandon Ship!!!! *him and his crew jump out just in time before the Interceptor crushes the little rowboat*
Groves- That's got to be the best pirate I've ever seen.
Norri- So it would seem.
*pan over to the Interceptor in the middle of the ocean*
Will- *sharpening his sword* When I was a lad living in England, my mother raised me by herself. After she died, I came out here, looking for my father.
Jack- is that so? *starts doing random chores around the ship*
Will- My father, Will Turner. At the jail it was only AFTER you learned my name that you agreed to help. Since that's what I wanted, I didn't press the matter. I'm not a simpleton Jack, you knew my father.
Jack- I knew 'im. Probably one of the few that knew him as William Turner. Everyone else just called him Bootstrap or Bootstrap Bill.
Will- Bootstrap?
Jack- Good Man, good pirate. I swear, you look just like him.
Will- It's not true! He was a merchant sailor. A good respectable man who obeyed the law!
Jack- He was a bloody pirate! A scallywag!
Will- *takes out his sword* My father WAS NOT a pirate!
Jack- put it away son, not worth you getting beat again.
Will- You didn't beat me. You ignored the rules of engagement. In a fair fight, I'd kill you.
Jack- That's not much incentive to fight fair, then is it? *swings part of the sail or something and hits Will in the chest. Will and the sail thingy are hanging over the sea* Now that you're just hanging there, pay attention. The only rules that matter are these 'what a man CAN do' and 'what a man CAN'T do'. For instance, you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man, but pirate is in your blood boy so you'll have to square with that one day. Now, for me, I can let you drown, but I can't bring this ship into Tortuga all by me onesy, savvy? *brings the sail back over the Interceptor and Will falls onto deck* So? *hands Will his sword* Can you sail under the command of a pirate, or can you not?
Will- Tortuga?
Jack- Tortuga. *changes scenes*
