Thank you for your kind words. My heart is still very heavy. Jonah and I went on an overnight trip Wed-Thurs, and all I kept thinking, "it is only cause Tenny is gone that we can do this". I couldn't leave before with his meds and his condition.

The vet called today, and his ashes are 'ready'. It is like it is all over again. I wasn't going to pick them up for awhile, but, then, I thought that I don't want him to be alone, without us, for another holiday.

Bring his ashes home for the remainder of the holidays so that you can wish him a Happy New Year. It will not be the same as having him there but he will be with you in spirit.. I'm so sorry for your loss.
