We are working on it, Phred. She does get supervised visits, but we just have to be extremely careful. Twice Katie has given some very serious growls. The kind of growls that says she means business. She has been put in her place. It's like Karen said, Sammi is too close to chew toy size for Katie. It wouldn't take much at all for her to seriously injure the little pup. Katie weighs 90 pounds and Sammi is only 5 pounds. Today Brandon and I took the 3 of them for a walk and they did well. Every once in awhile Sammi even got underneath Katie's legs and Katie didn't seem to mind. Katie's dog aggression was not as bad when we got Tori. It seems to have gotten worse as she has gotten older.

Sorry to have just seen this thread, Robin. Sammi just took my breath away! How about an "off the charts" rating! Sammi's cute little ears remind me of Logan's. Sammi is an angel! Happy 1st granpuppy staus!

What exciting news! Your first grandpuppy! It looks like both the parents are smitten as well they should be and you get to play with and enjoy Sammi and then send her home at night. I think having her around Tori will give her a chance to learn housebreaking even quicker.

it's great that you're back online. does it help with the potty training to have the bigger dogs with the little one? since alex the wonder dog was an only puppy, i've wondered if it was easier to housetrain with bigger ones showing proper pack behavior.
