Adoptions?

I've thought of that. But the founder of this agency would rather not be on that site. That's for agencies that get alot of pets in. We get them trickled in, and many of the pets are unadoptable and she has to keep them with her. So if we get more surrenders, there's no place to put them. She presently has 14 dogs and 18 cats. We're built sheds and dog houses around her property to keep them all. It seems whenever we advertise, we get more surrenders. The founder is in her late 60's and supports these pets strictly from her social security. That's one main reason I started helping her - besides now we're friends. There are no other volunteers except for me and I spread the word through other local agencies when I get a pet. Sometimes they need help too and I email my contacts. One hand washes the other. Thanks for the input.

well she could just set a limit and say no more we're full when she hits it. My friend does puppy mill rescue. OLD retired breeders that need lots of work and there tend to be a some that are just never adoptable from those places and she does just say no more though it can be hard. She gets some surenders from other places but rarely. She's on petfinder.
