    Thanks everyone! Borzoimom, the fact that Whisper can also be taught as a trick doesn't bother me as it isn't something I'll have to teach her.

    I also don't mind if there are quite a few dogs named River, or some of the others mentioned. I just don't want something common like Max, or Molly, for example. As far as naming a dog when they're already home goes, it doesn't seem any easier really for me. Of course, if none of the names I like suit her when she comes home, then we'll find something else but I've never had that problem before.

    Sophie, I am starting to like Rumour more and more for the same reasons you mentioned. I wasn't big on it at first though.

    All of that being said, my two favourite names that I listed are Epic and River - at the moment anyway.

    Lol...By the way, I meant that he wants to name any female dog Sasha. I worded it wrong accidentally.

    Journey - 2yr old Australian Shepherd
    Ripley - 5 1/2yr old Doberman
    Dance RN CGN FM - 7 1/2yr old Toller

    My future Dandie Dinmont Terrier boy is going to be River.. after River Phoenix . I like Rumor aswell... What about Fern?
