Ahh puppy fever. I've been having it for the last 3 years! I kept dreaming I was at the shelter, looking at the dogs, finding the right one. Finally I thought about it more and a couple weeks ago decided that in March or so, I'd start looking. But something compelled me to look at the Humane Society page today. The more I thought about it, the more driven I felt that I needed to go look. The rest is history. She won me over immediately.

I thought I'd post a few more pics of her.














Tommy is still keeping his distance from her for now, though he'll still come up for treats even if she's there

HA! HA! The old - "I"ll just take a peek at who is available" thing more often than not ends in an adoption! I just went * too look* at Bella and had also intended to not get serious until the spring.

I am so excited for you and for Tommy and Tasha. A new playmate for all of you! I am sure in no time at all that Tommy will be showing her how to select the very best logs to play with!!

Logan, I am laughing at your comment about Mack! That poor boy gets lots of *bad press* from his mama!

Thank you all so very much for your happiness and excitement for me! And wow Devon Cole does remind me of her, what a handsome dog!

Yeah she has me running back and forth but overall she's been a very good girl . She doesn't budge all night, sleeps snuggled up against me. I haven't had to get up at night to take her out at all. She is 3 months old so I had the bonus of another month on her as compared to when I got Tasha as a puppy, so she can hold her bladder longer. I also take up water at about 7 at night.

She's very curious and friendly, rarely makes a sound I have not heard a bark out of her. She seems very intelligent and eager to learn. Her first vet check is tomorrow morning.

Tommy is less anxious about her but still doesn't have anything to do with her. He just kind of ignores her for now or will get up and move if she gets in his face. But he's more relaxed than he was on her first day home so I hope he will warm up to her more with time. She and Tasha get along wonderfully and they love to run together outside.

Anyway, I haven't had much time to get more pictures but I got this one last night

I love her ears too! I know I'm a bit crazy with the pics right now but I had to share these. Their bed is right behind my chair where I work all day and they finally all laid close together. Today is the first day Tommy hasn't left the room when she tried to get close to him, so I think that's a good sign!






















It was a bit hard to get them all in the picture because they are so close to my chair but I knew if I got up and moved around they'd all get up too. They are all sleeping and dreaming now!
