Thread: Christmas drawing (FINISHED)

Friesians have such a long heavy mane. If you carry the mane down as thick down the nck as you did on top, it will cover up most of where the neck ends and make it look more natural, have it end with his make as the border rather than the lined border and outline look, if you are going for more natural, which it seems you are by the face. Good job.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

    OMG, It's coming out beautiful.
I have tears in my eyes.
Your mom will love this so much. It's a special gift that she will cherrish for years and years. These are the kinds of things that will pass from generation to generation. You can't do that with most storebought presents.

Well yes I know, you had already stated that, but you said it looked odd and asked for suggestions...that's why I gave you my opinion on it I wasn't picking on it, I was telling you why I thought it looked off in that part, that's all. I think you are doing a very nice job on it.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

WOW it's AMAZING! I've been drawing horses nonstop for 5 years but I could never reach that level of realism!

I actually used to draw horses A LOT when I was younger...but they were always really crappy. (mostly for my mom ) that's why, probably, I picked a horse and not a dog...because I know my mom would prefer a horse to a dog (drawing anyway)

I'm so jealous! That horse looks like he could start coming right off the computer screen. That's how real he looks. You are way too talented. You need to start applying for jobs with graffics companies. Do you have a portfolio? If not, you need to get one. You have some serious talent.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Wow, it just keeps getting better and better! re: printing it, check with shops that sell good quality photography supplies, many also do custom printing, and it's not that much more than regular.
