I finally got my tree up tonight. Most of the decorations go back to when I was a little kid. Here's my Charlie Brown Christmas Tree:

Maxie wants to know where the kitty cats are in the doggy themed manger:

A close up of the doggy manger. My sister made it last year for me. Every year, she is going to add another dog. If you can spot Joseph in the manger, that is Fenway's fur. She cut it off him when she dog sat him last year:

I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!

    I Loooooove the doggie manger!!!

    Here's mine...

The 1st pic is my best attempt of getting the pups to sit still near the tree!

My tree is fake and I don't put all the branches on it, I leave off the back branches so the tree can sit flush up against the wall and take up less room!

    Beautiful trees everybody!

Elizabeth, the doggie manger is sooo cute! I had never seen something like that before.

We'll probably put our tree up on Friday. It's an artificial one.

Here is my tree.. something of a rarity here in small town China; I had to go four hours on a bus to Guangzhou to buy it and then bring it home the same way. Quite an adventure but worth it I think

My kitties appreciate it anyway -- every night [IMG]they "steal" a new toy!

That is probably one of the greatest ideas I have ever heard of! Seriously! My living room is so tiny, and jammed with toys that I might do that, too!

Thats what we did this year too. We also left out the whole bottom tier of branches. It made a HUGE difference! My HUGE tree no longer looks so HUGE and fits just perfectly in the room. An added bonus us that none of the cats have even attempted to climb the branches like they've done in the past

Gosh, I so love this thread

Elizabethann, You're "Charlie Brown Tree" is so Beautiful~ and of course, I was drawn to the Doggie Navity Scene, Maxie's Espression was such a Bonus!!

Lilith Cherry~ That Christmas Tree is AWESOME~ and, Thank You for that Version of *Winter Wonderland*

and now, drum roll-----, symbols-----Dorothy managed to decorate the tree with a puppy looking on. I have a lot of "very old " ornaments on this little tree

I usually set antique toys underneath it, but I didn't want to take a chance with Jackie~ The old sled doesn't phase her in the least.

Thanks Dorothy and Elizabethanne! I am so enjoying this thread -- helps me to feel a little more "Christmas cheer" being so far away from all my family withoput all all the usual music and decorations that make this season so special. Please keep the pictures coming

Here is my little tree. I really do have ornaments for it but like it better without them. It's a fiber optic tree and it's so pretty just watching the colors change. The little green blob on top is an angel on a bell. There is a pic of it too. The little nativity set is one I made years ago. The angel beside it is a new one I just got. I painted the picture on the wall too! It was already stamped on the fabric, I just painted it.

No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

Dorothy39, I have a feeling I would just love your house. Just that little corner of your home is so cozy. I love that sled.

Momoffuzzyfaces, I LOVE that little white tree! It's soooo adorable!

I love everybody's tree actually. It's neat how they're all unique in their own way. Don't you think?
