Goodbye Tigger :(

I know he'll find my Divot at the Rainbow Bridge and that they are romping free of pain and healthy. I can't tell you how bad I feel for you, Here is something I wrote when Divot left for the Bridge. Maybe it can ease your poor heart a bit.

When sorrow stretches out extended arms,
she grabs up everyone of us she sees,
seduces us with false and fleeting charms
that bring us way down to our trembling knees.

She crushes us and scarcely lets us breathe;
her taloned fingers rake our bodies raw;
she pushes us down under seas that seethe;
we feebly try to slip her grasp and law.

One day so wearied by struggles long,
we see a tiny glimpse of sun above;
we hear the sweet strains of a simple song,
and we remember what there was of love.

And slowly slowly new dawn does arrise,
and we at long last can wipe our eyes.

I don't post here often but I had to say how terribly sorry I am for your loss. Tigger was such a handsome boy; you must be completely devestated. It hurts so much; I am getting LES just thinking about what you are going through.

I am so, so sorry you are having to go through this. Peace to you and headbutts in sympathy from Abby and Suki.
