Sorry for not having posted sooner. I have been following the thread and praying for you both and Chipper. Having had Snoopy in the "hospital" so short a time ago I know how worrisome it is when they aren't real sure what is wrong. Looks like Chipper did much better than Snoops with the IV. Snoopy would have never left that IV connection remain as it was in your picture. I cannot tell you how many times they had to poke old Snoops because he wouldn't leave things be.
I am so glad Chipper is getting better and home. I will keep praying for you all.

OUTSTANDING!!!! WELCOME HOME CHIPPER!!!
I am so glad to hear that Chipper is being "chipper!" I hope he feels better enough next week to come and visit and get his picture taken with Para Noel (Father Christmas)!!! He and Kia will look outstanding against the back drop!
Don't buy while shelter dogs die!!
WELCOME HOME CHIPPER!!! I'm so glad to hear that he's finally home and I hope that everything will continue to go well for him.![]()
Oh Happy Day! Now you take it a bit easy Chipster boy. Don't be trying to make up for lost time by being wild and crazy and wearing yourself out. Pace yourself, okay? Your new-found PT people have been worried about you to say nothing of what Mom and Dad have been through. Take your medicine like a good boy and heed what Uncle Phred says- let's be careful where you lift the leg. Hint - if it's cold, it's probably okay to let 'er rip.

Dinner went perfectly. He gobbled it all down and took his meds with no fuss and like a champ. He even wanted my sushi.

He had a little dribble accident inside in his excitement of me arriving home from running errands, but he held most of it in and let loose outside.
They are now resting after a small bout of play. Chipper is probably still tired from his ordeal, but he does not look ill, simply restful. I'm actually glad he's not gungho, it gives me time to pick up this place. It's pretty messy in here.![]()
He perks up when someone enters the building though. Something he didn't do when he was sick.
