I would think 2-3 months old. He looks just a bit tinier than Molly when we adopted her - she was 3 1/2 months. Very cute! Love the fuzziness.

I definitely think Rottie/Shep.. but it's crazy hard to tell when they're so young.

    Good luck with your parents!

He's adorable, Kay! I know how much you've wanted to add a 4th muttlie, and he's even the right colour. I'd guess him to be about 12 or so weeks. Not sure if the breeds involved in his mix. The only thing I really see that screams Rottweiler to me are his colours and a tiny bit in his head shape. I see a Aussie/Retriever/Shepherd mix (though I'm not sure why) and maybe some Rottie thrown in there somewhere. It's always so hard to tell when they're young. Whatever he is, he's a gorgeous pup. I hope your parents will let you have him, but if they don't, I'm sure you'll find him an awesome home.

He did great last night. I let him sleep in my room on the floor. No messes or anything in the morning, went right outside and pottied.

what a cutieee! He really does fit in perfectly... for srsly. =) Awesome of you to take him in and give him all the love he deserves, whether you keep the little guy or not.

Mufasa is such a cute name! My friends Airdale is named Rafiki, also a fantastic name. ;]

Ahh he is just so cute! He would fit right in with the muttlies especially with his mane and a name like Mufasa.

He kind of looks like Thunder when he was a puppy.

I REALLY hope your parents say yes to keeping him.

This sounds like you may have someone's WELL TRAINED and possibly
very much Loved & Missed PET!!

Unless we're all totally mis-judging his age - it's very uncommon for a pup this young
to be THAT well potty trained - especially in a strange house.

Have you made any attempt to advertise him and/or search out a possible Owner?

Think back not that long ago when YOU had KiKi missing ...
It's devistating to "loose" a Pet - Before you "keep" this pup - you really
should make a serious effort to locate a possible owner.

But good luck in NOT being able to find his old owner.

But also make sure they "call to identify" you might get some wackjob saying that's their dog and it's not.

Well, in all fairness to his old owner, if they care about him, let's hope they find him. So instead - let's hope that the old owner DOESN'T care about him.
