Just love your budgie buddies. They are cute little boys. I'd guess that they are very young, but not babies. You can tell because the little stripes are still at the tops of their little heads. My little boy is four yrs this month, and his head looks like a little yellow helmet. The stripes recede with time, almost like a man's hair, or counting the rings in a tree.![]()
Baxter and Barry look cute and well loved.
But I must point out that they are NOT parakeets. They are Budgerigars. Budgies make gorgeous pets as you have discovered.
