Now I'm all in the Christmas Spirit! We'll probably be getting ours in a week or two. I've always wanted a gold or white or silver fake tree though.

Beautiful trees, everyone! We have yet to put ours up. Mom likes to wait until December usually.

This is the first time in years that we've actually gotten a real tree. The artificial one we have just takes too long to put up, each individual branch has to be put on then spread out and I just didn't want to deal with it this year. So, we get this tree and I have put all the same stuff I usually put on on the old tree and it just looks naked to me. I've added some pine cones, collected them from the neighbors yard and painted them and have purchased some BIG ornaments and think I'm finally satisfied with it now.

Beautiful trees everyone!! We usually put ours up right after Thanksgiving, but it still isn't up yet. We do all that fancy decorating with the different ribbons and all that matchy stuff, but I dont even know if we are putting it up this year! I told my mom I really didn't feel like helping her last weekend, so I'm not sure if it will ever go up, good thing Christmas isn't at our house this year!

We bought our tree and decorated it last night. I really wanted a noble fir, but we just couldn't afford it year so we went with a Douglas fir. I love putting up holiday decoration, it's so much fun and always puts me in a good mood.

I finally got my tree up tonight. Most of the decorations go back to when I was a little kid. Here's my Charlie Brown Christmas Tree:

Maxie wants to know where the kitty cats are in the doggy themed manger:

A close up of the doggy manger. My sister made it last year for me. Every year, she is going to add another dog. If you can spot Joseph in the manger, that is Fenway's fur. She cut it off him when she dog sat him last year:

I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!

Unfortunately, I left my fiber-optic Christmas tree in Michigan in my SIL's garage. Because of the limited space in my studio apt., I really don't have the room to put up a tree. That's okay. I just light my mistletoe scented candles, close my eyes, inhale and imagine the most beautiful tree I can. Works for me!
