Thank GOD for you Lorraine for saving him from longer (much longer)days of unreal pain in the streets.
Be happy you saved him from THAT.I'm so happy to hear this story because you saved him from a HORRIFIC long lonely painful death. And putting him down humanely was what he needed to rest without any more pain.I'm sure he's one of your angels now looking over you.
I hope his siblings on the streets aren't in pain too![]()
Thanks Again Lorraine for helping him end peacefully.
Thank You Kim for this wonderful siggy

I'm so sorry, Lorraine. What a sad thing to happen. Sometimes the only thing you can do for them is let them go.It was better for him this way than alone on the streets.
Rest in peace little baby.
awww poor boy....![]()
You did the best thing possible, Lorraine! At least, he didn't have to spend his last days in the cold, full of pain...
I miss you enormously Sydney, Maya, Inka & ZazouBe happy there at the Rainbow Bridge
Thank you Lorraine for being you, and being concerned enough to pull the kitten off the streets in the first place. Chances are he wouldn't have even survived until the scheduled vet appointment. FIP takes them down so incredibly fast when symptoms start to show up like that. My sweet Whoopsie Daisy went from wet form FIP, and she was gone within 48 hours. Your little rescued boy went to the Bridge knowing someone cared about him, and with a full tummy, unlike so many others that never get that chance.((HUGS)) and don't beat yourself up over this...you DID do the right thing!

Oh poor beautiful boyIt is sad and you took a very hard decision, but I am sure it was the best. Who knows in what conditions he would have survived (or died) if you did not rescue him! I am happy he found you! RIP little boy. Your next life will be better

I agree that you did the only thing you could. We found a kitten many many years ago on the way home from work. Picked her up literally from the middle of the road, got her home, made an appt for the next morning. She had a heck of a cold going. From her size we thought she had been separated from mom way too early. Took her in to the vet. They told me she was actually about 5 months old, and the cold/infection was just massive. I made that horrible decision...as I was at the counter paying for the visit, they came out to tell me that she passed away on the way to the back area of the office. But I have always been comfoted by the fact that we kept her warm and as comfortable as possible that last 24 hours so she knew that someone loved her in the end...
