They aren't brothers, although sometimes I wonder. Zingo was "rescued" from our local gun club. My husband was up there shooting and Zingo sat at his feet the whole time, for a while we wondered if he was deaf 'cause he never flinched! But something spooked him, he bit Hubby, so we brought him home to quarantine him for 10 days to be sure there were no rabies. After 10 days there was no way I was giving him up! Oatmeal came from the streets around our house. He just started showing up one day (saw the fluashing "SUCKER" lights I'm sure) and we fed him. When the time came to bring him, we opened the door...and he walked right in...
Zingo is actually about 10 pounds heavier, but you can't tell from the picture. I was really glad to see them cuddle as Zing has been rather lost since we lost Kunan in June 2005, so this was a fantastic sight to see!
What beautiful boys! And, what stories about each one!
Love the 'smile' on Zingo's face. Oatmeal doesn't look too impressed, though!![]()
