I read somewhere you could coat it with deodarant ( the stick kind ) and then spray perfume on that. The deodorant will keep it onthe leash, and the perfume makes it taste bad. Make sure he doesn't like it first, cause ya don't want your dog eating that, but it maybe something to try.
