She so loved to sleep under it on on the tree skirt.
Boy, reading that brought back some strong memories for me, Slick. Speckles and Mimi must have been two peas in a pod. I will miss having my Mimi sleeping under the tree this year, but I'm sure the tree skirt bears some fur from over the years. She loved the Christmas tree, bless her sweet heart. I will miss her this Christmas, as I know you will miss Speckles, too.

I continue to have you in my prayers, my friend. I hope that your appointment on Tuesday will bring you some answers. You need to feel better! You deserve to feel better!!!!

    Much love,
    Logan

Boy, can I ever relate to the Christmas tree skirt. My first heartcat, Sugar, also loved the Christmas tree and he spent all of his napping time there. He was pure white, so he looked like a small angel asleep.

Slick, hoping that the weather has improved and driving won't be difficult for you.

I will be checking later for your update after you see the Dr.

Slick, I'm thinking of you all day and sending lots of positive thoughts. I hope to hear good news after you have seen the surgeon.

    ((((hugs))))

Thank you guys. Right now my challenge is how to get there. After our dump of snow on the weekend the roads seem clear enough but they are covered with ice as it's -8 C which converts to about 17 F. It's not going to get much warmer either. The radio is saying that it's too cold for even the salt to do much good. Oh yes, we have another dump of snow coming either tomorrow or Thursday (depending on which website I look at ) so that should be fun.

However the nice thing is that the sun is shining brightly and there is not a cloud in the sky. The snow covered mountains are spectacular and belong in a magazine. Beautiful BC lives up to it's name yet again.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    My Dear Slick,

I'm so sorry you're dealing with these symptoms. Are you sleeping sitting upright? I thought we talked about that on the phone and I *think* you said you had to. Do you mind refreshing my memory? If you aren't, sitting upright will help you breathe a lot better as it opens all the airways and enables easier breathing. I have asthma and have had to do that throughout my life to be able to sleep and breathe at the same time. (you know, kinda convenient )

I really, really, really hope your surgeon can offer some advice on what to do and ideas as to why you're experiencing these problems. Is your appointment today? I hope the ice melts so that you can arrive SAFELY, honey.

I'm also sorry about Speckles missing from your tree skirt. But I know where she is...she's up in heaven sitting on the BIG tree skirt under God's and the Angel's Christmas Tree in the Sky. She's sitting under the tree and looking down at you and Max - watching over you, keeping you safe.

Please let us know how things go at your appointment. If I can do anything at all to help, please let me know, OK?

    Love you,
    Kelly

Just checking in to see if there was an up date. I sure hope all went well.

Thanks for sharing your winter weather with us, by the way. We are under a winter storm warning until midnight Thursday night. Been raining all day with dropping temps. Supposed to freeze with sleet and snow on top of it. They say this came from Canada!!! I personally think it is just our pay back for having nice weather for so long.
No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!
