Neither lol. I'm not very familiar with how a long coat like that would be able to handle daily wear. I have had a neighbor drop off their poodle at my house to be groomed and it was aweful. Not only did they allow it to be long, they didn't brush it out at all. They said it was because she played alot that day, but I know better than that....judging on how badly matted it was, it must have taken 3 or more months to get like that.

I don't intentionally plan on getting any particular breed other than a border collie from a rescue. Showing and breeding isn't my thing, rescuing and rehabilitating is. So if I end up with a Maltese at one point or another, I'm totally ok with that
