Two of my three girls didn't respond well to their spaying. The only one who did was a laser spay, the other two were the normal incision kind. From what I gathered from the vet who did the laser spay, it's less invasive, and has a quicker healing time.Originally Posted by heidiv
With the other two kitties, they both had a reaction to the stitches that were used. Both different vets, and different years they were done, so it wasn't a vet thing. The vet who helped me out with them (he was a parent of one of my students and also a vet), had me put warm compresses on their incisions a few times a day. It did seem to help, and they loved the sensation, I think it felt very comforting to them, and they got to be babied even more.
