Good job and it would hold better on the thin neck of a sighthound!! Very good!

I think that one'll be perfect, it isn't too fancy, and the black won't be too obvious on her. I only hope it will

    A) be warm enough

    and

    B) fit

It should fit, they are more expensive, but are custom made, so it will fit the oddball shape

I agree- as I said I know greyhound coats, but they are a little more, but perfect fit is the purpose for getting one... We do have a special body size here and it is hard.. ( I ordered a collar.. lol... )

lol, at least yours are purebred sighthounds, they have a "normal" oddball shape. Mine's a mix. Just to complicate things.

They should tell you how to measure it. If you spray the outside of the coat with static spray, it will keep the dog hair off it, and provide a repellent exterior.

I'm going to get one from Weatherbeeta for my dog. They're originally made for horses and are super durable and thick

I got Piper's coats from www.dogedesigns.com. There are nicer out there, but she's located in Canada (Ontario, actually) and her products aren't overly expensive. The lady who wons the site makes them for greyhounds, so maybe she could make a custom fit one for Jenny since she isn't purebred.

The ones from that needlenose link are beautiful though, and look pretty warm.
