edited above post. The rain coats are lined with just a light fabric- very light. Just enough to insulate. Usually if they dont get damp they stay warm enough. If I had a grayhound I would use the one worn by the boxer.

That one is a little thick. Remember- they put alot of heat in the chest area.Originally Posted by GreyhoundGirl

I'm not really looking for a raincoat. I'm looking for a really thick winter one.

Good job and it would hold better on the thin neck of a sighthound!! Very good!Originally Posted by GreyhoundGirl
I'm going to get one from Weatherbeeta for my dog. They're originally made for horses and are super durable and thick

Hi...just read your post looking for a nice winter coat for a Boxer.
I know they are very hard to fit.
We have all kinds of the Whistler Warm Up Coat in stock in size 22 which is typically a great fit for Boxers:

It's snowing sideways here in Nova Scotia and I know we've just been lucky based on what our customers acrosss North America have been saying for the past 6 weeks or so.

Its cold here too but granted my guys have a coat. If its too much bulk in the front it will make the heart too hot. They need insulation on the back. You know your weather better than I do obviously- either would do, however I am concerned that one might be too much. Then again- she is only going out for a few minutes. A dog can overheat in a coat as I know you know already.
