How many have had to put a pet to sleep, or take it to the pound

Yes I have had to put Zippy's brother Tiger to sleep.He was really sick and nothing could be done.
I have had to give away pets. My beloved Emmy Lou(my peekboo tiel)she know lives with Kari.

I have had to put Two Dogs to sleep. My rotti girl Zoey, had to be PTS due to severe arthritis in her spine, she couldnt walk very well, and was suffereing so much, it hurt us all to see her like that. We also just last year had to put our Rotti Boy Zues to sleep, due to Cancer in his stomache and his throat. It was very hard on us! They were both such great dogs!

we would NEVER ever take our pets to the pound! the last time we had a pet pts was 10 years ago. He was a basset hound/beagle mix and when we were living in Nevada, he got loose. A kid found him and fed him lunchmeat in front of his dog! We had to rush Buddy to the emergency vet clinic and he had a lot of stitches put in his back. we cleaned him up good everyday but in 1996, he was going down hill so we had to make the tough decision of putting him down 2 weeks before Christmas. He was the best dog ever.
