Your right though, it is better to not let them go at a young age (5 wks. 6 wks.) because they could get sick or something.

I haven't ever got a rescue dog. I've always bought mine But, I hope to get my next dog from a shelter. I've always wanted to save one. Just all the shelters around here have pups that are so sick. It's sad. We did get one pup from our shelter a few years back and it had parvo and died. We didn't really know much about the parvo virus at the time and couldn't keep the little pup alive but since then we've had 2 dogs get parvo and we've been fortunate enough to help them thru it!

I wasn't trying to change the subject either, but sometimes when you get to talking about something you get carried away! LOL......
