What a sweet little bambina! Looks very like my Zerlina (yes, she's named for the character in Don Giovanni), except Phoenix forgot her little white bikini!
Bless you for helping her recover from her awful former owners. I can't imagine why anyone would hurt such a beautiful creature.

Dear sweet, beautiful Phoenix, I had LES reading about the abuse that you suffered from the monsters that first had you. Thank goodness you were adopted into a wonderful home, where you will never ever suffer from abuse again. You will live out your life surrounded by love and your needs will be tenderly taken care of.

A great big meow from Phoenix for all the complements. She loves hearing how beautiful she is.Hubby would kill me if he heard that. LOL And thank you all for the lovely comments. I can't understand either how someone could do things like this to an animal. And to think there are others out there that suffer similar atrocities and much worse really makes me angry and sad. I just don't get it...it really takes a sick individual to do these things to them and not even bat an eyelash about it or feel sorry for the injury and pain they have caused. Very sad.
But Phoenix was a lucky one she knew a good think when she seen it and gladly snatched it right up and now she is sooo spoiled she even turns her little nose up and certain flavors of foods. hehehe and this was a kitty that only ever ate dry food and not very good stuff at that. AHHHHH...the life of a spoiled pampered princess.
