Cats always know a good seat.

Dad and Ruffles have declared war over who gets to sit in "Dad's" recliner in the family room. If he is on it, she gets in his lap and kenads and sits until he just can't get a thing down and has to get up. Then she settles quite comfortably. If he is NOT on it, but walking toward it, she will rush right past him, jump up and sit facing the back of the seat, giving him the old rebuff!
