Hi everyone - I'm feeling fine after a few days. I actually returned to work on Thursday and did well so I went in Friday also - I was only a little sore Thursday, but yesterday and today I haven't had anything other than a sinus headache. I was very lucky.
By the way, for those of you who missed my post a couple of weeks ago, Bryan is our 6th (and that's it - just 6) kitty. We were going to possibly adopt Bryan and his brother Brandon back when we were adopting Mikey and Vincent, but we didn't want to break the two of them up - we also didn't think we could handle 7 cats. Bryan was so sweet that we thought he wouldn't have any trouble getting adopted. However he was past the baby kitten stage and was in his middle- kitten months, so the younger kittens kept getting adopted, and he kept getting passed by. His brother was adopted and he was still there, and we just loved him and kept thinking about him - so, on Oct 20, we brought him home, and he brought a nice balance to our house that was lacking with 5 cats. We have a theory that our house needs to have an even number of cats, like it used to when Leo was alive, to be at least mostly peaceful. I will say that Leila is still mean to the new ones, but she's mean to all of us, really, from time to time. Bryan spent his first couple of days in our extra bedroom away from the others, and they didn't seem to have a big problem when he got to be out among them - not at all like Vincent & Mikey. Anyway, he's a very adorable, talkative, water-loving (seriously, he just plays in water - it's really funny), medium-haired/with a fluffy tail, 8 1/2-month old boy. He's great!
Anyway, glad you enjoyed the pics. Here are a couple more that show promise for the newbies - Bailey and Vincent have taken to hanging out together:
