This makes me smile, I was worried about you. Not that I'll stop praying for you, but, this helps a lot! She's absolutely beautiful, I can't wait to hear how she makes you smile, laugh, cry, and scream, just like any good dog would do.

Oh my, I got chills up my spine reading this.

When I adopted Cuddles from the city shelter (Cuddles is a cat), she was terrified of humans, due to abuse. She was 2 years old and had been at the shelter for 18 months. Just coming out of the cage and being in a room, a great big 10 by 12 room, was a scary thing to her. A whole house? My goodness, that took her 3 weeks to adapt. These 15 months that she had lived here have been SO incredible, to see her grow and learn to relax!

You will experience the same things with this beauty named Molly. It is a wonderful rewarding experience.

If Molly is like my Cuddles, she will make progress at HER pace, NOT at what you want or expect. Being a part of PT will be great, because you will be recording what she does and be able to see her improve over time.

I had tears welling up in my eyes as I read your post. What a sweet little girl Molly is!! Things happen for a reason, honey. The hole in your heart left by Duke can never be filled. However, Molly obviously was meant to be with you and Doogie. I wish you many years of happiness and companionship. She is beautiful.

Val, She is just beautiful, I love that picture of her face. Casey was a lot like her when I adopted her and she has totally come out of her shell now. I am so happy for you and her.

My moms internet has been on the blink for a few days and I am just now seeing this..

Congratulations on getting her.. I think she will help your heart heal a little at a time. She is such a beautiful girl. It sounds like the two of you were meant to be.
