Here at Ohio State, we take it VERY seriously when it comes to Michigan.. We have a tradition where we JUMP IN Mirror Lake the day before the GAME! We did it at midnight.. and here are pics:
Yes by the way I froze my ass off, but it was so amazing, so amazing that I can't describe it.. it's definitely one of the greatest things I've done here at Ohio State.

Bud Light Presents: Real Men of Genius...
Today we salute you, Mr. Mirror Lake Jumper-Inner.
Ignoring the obvious dangers of severe hypothermia, you trudge onward
and plunge into a 27 degree body of water in the middle of November.
Armed only with an abundance of buckeyes around your neck, you are
living proof that nothing is unbearable as long as you have a big set
of nuts. Splashing around tirelessly, you disregard the frigid
temperatures and try to warm yourself by incessantly chanting "O-H"
and "I-O." Why do you do it, they ask? Because no wind chill factor
is gonna stop you from showing a little school spirit and a pure
hatred for those b*st*rds up North. So crack open an ice cold Bud
Light, oh Crazed one of Columbus, because when it comes to the
Buckeyes, you're simply NUTS.

I had been debating if I wanted to jump in Mirror Lake for a while, then.. I started thinking about that quote - "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." by Mark Twain... then that quote just had movitation for me to go for it and I'm really glad I did. It is definitely one of the experiences in my life I will never forget.
