I think it is pretty ridiculous of the people who DON'T agree with the groups decision to purposefully go into the meetings. I mean, really, what kind of sense does that make? It is a group who ALL voted and decided what they wanted to do with their own group/social gathering/whatever. They shouldn't affiliate with something they don't agree with.

I got the impression it was a student body council. It's not "their" meetings, it is suppose to represent the entire student body. There is nothing wrong to attending a student body meeting at your college. there is also nothing wrong (well there wasn't anything wrong) with expressing your beliefs at those meetings, even if they do not agree with the beliefs of the people who have been elected to the board. It is alright (at least so far) in the United States to become involved in politics and/or political matters even if you do not agree with the party that is presently in power. Or did I misunderstand was this some private club? What are the consquences of defying that ban?
