    Thanks Kim.

I'm copying this to my records.

Now, the FVR is part of the distemper vaccine known as FVRCP.

Is it the C is for Calici and the P is for Panleukpenia (distemper)?

Thanks for all the info Kim. I will ask my vet tomorrow about it too. Moxie and Decker have had their first shot and the vet told me today she wants me to wait until at least next Wed. before they get the second one to give them time to recover from the diarrhea. Isn't the second shot the one the one for URI?

Scout's weepy eye has been constant since May. The vet looked at it in June or July and said it was just weepy, nothing more serious. She stays stressed because all the other kitties except Ripley pick on her. Jazz has been tearing off an on for quite a while too.

Try putting L-Lysine powder in their food. (available from vet)
I think it helps Snowy's eyes, and if I let up and don't use it, he gets weepy again.

Wow this is timely for me. I inhereted Potter and he has had the weepy eye for 3 months since I have had him with no sign of an uri. He must have had it before? The vet gave me something for pink eye to try but I will ask about the lysine.
don't breed or buy while shelter dogs die....
