Since she was a rescue and already an adult, we have no idea her age. We're guessing a few years.
Yes, at this point in time I'm prepared to deal with it. Seems we have it under control as long as she's secluded in her own room. When the day comes I'm too old and tired to deal with it, then I'll cross that bridge.
It would be awhile before we could ever/if ever extend the cat run. It was not a cheap addition and we had way less cats then. Finances are getting tighter as the clan grows and we have the never ending rescues (TNR) at the park along with all the food we buy weekly.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
