Freedom I just loved reading your post! I have 8 inside cats, 4 are 6 months old(teenagers) with huge appetites. Like you I am trying to work out feeding so that all get to eat. The "kids" have their heads stuck in the can as soon as they hear me opening it. They can be at the other end of the house and hear it!! If you would see them you would think that they are little starving urchins. I have started feeding them first, and then the older ones are locked in the laundry room by themselves with their own food. I used to be able to get up in the middle of the night for a potty break and then stumble back to bed, not anymore! When I come out of the bathroom I have a small crowd waiting on me. So of course I head to the laundry room to fill food bowls, if I didn't they would be tearing at the carpet outside the bedroom door or bouncing off the door! My poor husband is not an animal lover and they are driving him crazy. He is home now recuperating from triple bypass surgery a couple of months ago. Doesn't go back to work til mid December. I love these babies with all my heart and try very, very hard to keep up with them.
